Van Gogh: Night Cafe in Arles. This is a study for the actual painting of Night Cafe, showing the very same scene. This version however is dominated by the complementary colors red and green while the later version focuses on the nocturnal character using several shades of red and yellow. This watercolor painting is currently part of a private collection.
