Vincent van Gogh’s painting »Vase with Five Sunflowers« is the second version from the Arles series, painted during August 1888. The painting with the royal-blue background had the dimensions of 98 cm × 69 cm and belonged to a private collector in Japan. Unfortunately, the painting was burnt by a fire during WW II.
