Vincent Van Gogh’s »Vase with Three Sunflowers« the first version of the Arles series was executed during August 1888 and shows three orange sunflowers with a turquoise background. The painting was executed as oil on canvas, the dimensions are 73.5 cm × 60 cm and belongs now to a private collector from the USA.
